Given the northerly location of the premises, they mainly grow storable vegetables, such as carrots, green and red cabbage, rutabaga and white turnip.

The farm’s annual storage capacity of 500,000 kg allows it to continue to supply the market for a good part of the winter. The goods are transported from the farm to grocery store warehouses or wholesalers thanks to two contractually hired fruit and vegetable wholesalers in the area, allowing Les jardins Bio-forestiers to serve its customers efficiently.

The family’s youngest son David wishes to take over the farm one day together with his sister Yose, who is the family’s eldest daughter. David grows his own vegetables in the summer, including yellow and green beans, snow peas, broad beans, sweet corn, yellow and purple cauliflower, zucchini and more.
